二應身

(二應身, 二应身)

The two kinds of transformation-body of a Buddha, i.e. [lang id =1028]勝應身 the Buddha's surpassing body as seen by bodhisattvas, and [lang id =1028]劣應身 the Buddha's inferior human body as seen by ordinary people.

勝應身和劣應身。 勝應身是佛非常殊勝的應化身， 是佛應初地以上的菩薩而示現的一種應化身； 劣應身是佛最下等惡劣的應化身， 是佛應初地以下乃至凡夫而示現的一種應化身。
